Bull Moose at Sprague Lake

I have become a moose snob, only wishing to photograph the bull moose, as I find the antlers a remarkable feature of this animal. In Alaska, they call the moose antlers, oars. So perhaps I am an oar snob. Either way, it is a pure delight to see a bull moose anywhere in Rocky Mountain National Park.

I have a fascination with owls, of all kinds. This species makes its home underground, primarily in the holes dug out by prairie dogs. Their grooming is quite functional, but also looks romantic.
